The mission of the Be A Blake Foundation is to educate all on the dangers of drug impaired driving and to support further training for law enforcement officials to better identify drug impaired driving, with a goal to save lives by making our roads, streets and highways safer.

About Blake

The BeABlake Foundation was founded in honor of Blake Rhone-Subinsky.

Blake was a 32-year-old son, brother, husband, daddy and friend whose life was tragically taken on August 31, 2021, by a drug impaired driver. His entire life was still ahead of him.

Blake was born in Houston, Texas, and grew up in Angleton, Texas, which is just south of Houston. He graduated from high school in 2007 and then he attended Sam Houston State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 2012. He played baseball at the collegiate level and was an active member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity, where he served in many capacities including President.

Funds for law enforcement officers to attend the Texas Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) Program, which is training to identify and prosecute drug-impaired drivers.
